After some initial controversy, GSC is confirmed to be shutting down. Earlier today, Rock, Paper, Shotgun came across a Ukrainian website that stated that GSC, the developer behind the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series was closing down. GSC’s Twitter feed stated that this rumor was false. However, after a few hours, this tweet was pulled. Popular Ukrainian videogame industry dude Sergey Galyonkin ( who is close with the team at GSC)
