Free Retro-Styled Platformer Sqrxz 3 Out Now For 17 Different Platforms

Giana’s Return developer Retroguru has launched Sqrxz 3: Adventure for Love , a free side-scrolling run-and-jump game that takes the concept of “multiplatform” to new extremes. Remarkably, seventeen different versions of the game are available. Compatible platforms include Amiga OS4, AROS, Caanoo, Dingoo A320 (OpenDingux), Dreamcast, GP2x, Mac OS X, Motomagx, MorphOS, NetBSD (Intel), Pandora, PlayStation Portable (unsigned), Symbian OS Series 60, Symbian OS UIQ3, Ubuntu, Windows and Wiz. I know what you’re thinking: “What, no Mega Duck support?” I know; it sucks. Regardless, it’s still pretty darn likely that you own some sort of device capable of playing this game. Be warned, however, that the experience is specifically designed for hardcore platformer fans; project leader Shahzad Sahaib warns that the game “has a very high frustration level.” Be careful not to break your Dingoo!
