The developers had promised that those who owned weapons before the customization update would not see their weapons changed, but on the 19th they announced that these legacy attachments were OP, and that in the interest of balance they would be removed. The +3 weapons that they were replaced with only do 3 more damage than the now-standard weapons. Their recoil, damage, accuracy, and ammo-count were severely nerfed.
