The MMO Round-up captures the genre’s most notable happenings of the week in easy to consume, bite-sized portions. There are rumors floating about that suggest Crytek is working on an MMO possibly called Kingdoms. Lord of the Rings Online is going free-to-play this fall with the beta starting on June 16.

Another teaser for Crytek’s upcoming alien-blaster Crysis 2 has appeared, and it doesn’t really reveal much other than the game will feature something called ‘The Pinger’, which is basically a big-ass robot which resembles the gecko from Metal Gear Solid 4 . Despair not, however, as GTTV has got some gameplay footage over at their site as well, and it looks pretty damn good. Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli informs that the Pinger is in fact one of the game’s bosses that we’ll be shooting in the face at some point.
The first look at the next Red Faction title has arrived and, as domain registrations suggested just over a month ago , it goes by Red Faction Armageddon .
Although subtitled, this developer diary for CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is definitely interesting and one to be watched/read all the way through. Activision may be prepping for a GoldenEye remake. So suggest several images sent to GoNintendo by an anonymous source.
