Here’s Bulletstorm making one last run at your wallet with a launch trailer. It’s got a big focus on the game’s story instead of the usual “kill with skill” approach. Of the many, many trailers that have come and gone for this game, this is actually one of the better ones. Bulletstorm can be picked up today in the US. Elsewhere you’ll have to wait until Friday.
If you can’t wait for your turn to destroy everything on Mars again, rest assured that THQ is planning to give you yours on May 31st in the U.S. and June 3rd everywhere else when Red Faction: Armageddon drops, as the publisher announced today. The game’s currently set for 360, PS3, and PC–as we all know how universal space hammers are.
In an interview with Capcom-Unity today, VP Christian Svensson did some elaborating on how Marvel vs. Capcom 3 finally came to pass after nearly ten years since the last entry in the series. “It starts with a champion.” Svensson said, “Someone who believes in an idea enough to put some work around it and pitch it at the highest levels of the company. In Marvel vs. Capcom 3′s case, it was Jun Takeuchi on the creative side and me on the business side…part of the reason I was a champion for MvC2 and MvC3 was because of all of the fan demand. If it hadn’t been for that fan demand, MvC3 wouldn’t have happened
You may recall a few months ago that 2K announced that they would, after saying they wouldn’t, be offering up DLC for the PC version of BioShock 2 based on popular demand. After one small update , the latest news is now that the Protector Trials DLC got a quiet release just last week. Hooray, right? Wrong. It doesn’t run . A 2K representative on the official forums states that the game is “not ready yet” and to “wait till my word before you go grab it.” Must be frustrating for the PC gamers jonesing for some mini challenges to go with their guns, splicing, and objectivist commentary. Hopefully we won’t have too long to wait on the Minerva’s Den DLC, either
Those considering picking up Bulletstorm on PC should be aware that there’s a demo in the works. It’s just too bad that it won’t be available in time for release, but Epic vice president Mark Rein tweets that it “should be available shortly after”. This is already the second batch of good news for PC fans regarding Bulletstorm then. Just the other day we heard that Epic would be including a digital copy of Gears of War within every PC Bulletstorm package.
