With pretty much all games getting bonus content added if pre-ordered, it was only a matter of time such a high-profile title like Bulletstorm was getting the same treatment. And now it has. EA, Epic Games and developer People Can Fly have announced that Bulletstorm will come in its customary standard retail edition as well as an Epic Edition containing extra in-game content when playing online, including 25,000 experience points, visual upgrades for the leash, deadly Peace Maker Carbine, boots and armor, leaving it all up to you to make those kills as stylish as you can.

Smartphones have fast become a major arena for video game industry players, and now Sony is looking to get on board with a free PlayStation app for iPhone, iPod Touch and Android, which it plans to release in the near future. Sony’s official PlayStation mobile app will be primarily geared at enabling users to access social features, like friends’ status updates, the games friends are playing, new game listings and news announcements.

Every time we see fresh LittleBigPlanet 2 footage it usually has something that drops our jaws. This time it’s the Music Sequencer, allowing players to mix their own tracks and add it to their level. Music can even be controlled via switches.

Sony’s end-of-the-world racer, MotorStorm Apocalypse is getting both pre and post launch support. Before the game launches in Spring 2011 there will be a demo for PSN users to try out. On top of that developer Evolution Studios have “big ambitions” for DLC.
