Ubisoft’s always-connected DRM killed quietly

It seems someone at Ubisoft made a simple New Year’s resolution: stop doing something that gamers hate. Well, there’s nothing gamers hate more than DRM, so thankfully Ubisoft has made a step in the right direction by no longer requiring a constant internet connection to play games such as Assassin’s Creed II and Splinter Cell: Conviction .
